The Exponential Growth Of the Blessing Of God

You will need your Bible and a pen & notebook to complete these lessons. You should be able to copy and paste these outlines to your word processor and print them without difficulty if you so desire. We recommend you record in your note book deep thoughts or questions that may arise as you study, and certainly record all things God reveals to your heart. Look over these notes frequently and use them even as you pray. God will cause you to grow in wisdom and understanding. Keep your note book with you throughout the day as much as possible to record all God reveals to you and to mark them in your bible. It is Gods Word speaking directly to you.

We also recommend you make a habit of memorizing a scripture each week. This not only helps get the Word deep in your heart, but is also an excellent mental exercise.

                                        The Exponential Growth of The Blessing of God

All of the promises of God are yes and Amen in Christ! (2Corinthians 1:20)

We can pull away or draw nearer to him, every moment, every day 

As a child of God, God’s omnipresence means you’re never separated from His blessing.

PLAIN ENGLISH: He’s everywhere

* We need to tune ourselves in to Him (like an old dial radio)

“I will never leave you nor forsake you”
“I will come to you”
“we will make our abode with you”
“Christ in you, your hope of glory”

ETERNAL THINGS MATTER! Temporary things, NOT SO MUCH:
EARTHLY WEALTH IS TEMPORARY - SPIRITUAL MATTERS ARE ETERNAL: LOVE, ACTS OF KINDNESS, HELPFULNESS (Just good old fashion neighborly behavior) These things can have eternal ramifications!

DON’T CHASE THE BLESSING, but rather CHASE AFTER GOD, AND THE BLESSING WILL CHASE AFTER YOU!

THREE PARTS OF THE BLESSING

A) The Personal Blessing
Psalm 112:1 Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights
greatly in His commandments.

Psalm 84:12 O Lord of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!

     1. All your needs met (needs, not greed!)

     Psalm 112:3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house…
     Matthew 6:33 “Seek first the kingdom of God and His
     Righteousness and all these things shall be added to you”.

     ~THINGS: food, shelter, clothing; YOUR NEEDS MET!

     OUR HEAVENLY FATHER KNOWS HOW TO PROVIDE FOR HIS KIDS!

     2. Long life
     Psalm 91:16...with long life I will satisfy him and show him my
     salvation.

   3. Eternal life - our salvation is included in Christ as part of this
       blessing! (again Psalm 91:16)

        * This is the big one! Heaven is your future, for sure, not maybe   

        ~ God is our source and supply. Stay focused on Him and walking
            in His ways and the blessings will flow.

DON’T CHASE THE BLESSING, but rather CHASE AFTER GOD, AND THE BLESSING WILL CHASE AFTER YOU!

B) Family Blessing
      Psalm 112:2b-3 …the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth
     And riches shall be in his house and his righteousness endures forever.

      Loved ones saved
      ~ You’re household walks in blessing. Your children, your spouse and all
         whom you call family. PRAY THEM IN! It is Gods will according to
         this Scripture, and you can stand on it!

         READ ABOUT REHAB in Joshua 2 (note verse 12&13)
~ Surely if a harlot in the OT covenant can receive mercy and save her whole family, us in the New Testament, with the blood covenant of Jesus, can believe and see my whole family saved!

 C) The Heritage Blessing - Your Legacy!
        Psalm 112:2-3 His descendants will be mighty on the earth; The
        generation of the upright will be blessed.

       ~Your family tree is forever entitled to walk in this blessing!
          Long after you’ve gone on to heaven the blessing continues!

       ~You have opened a window of opportunity for your family tree forever
          through your faithfulness to God.

       ~whoever, forever, seeks God in your family tree will find him.

Entering Fully In To The Blessing

1. Make Jesus Lord of your life.
* Jesus said to doubting Thomas “ Thomas, because you have seen Me you believe. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed.”

2. Psalm 84:11b For the Lord god is a sun and shield; The Lord will give
Grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

SO HOW DO WE WALK UPRIGHTLY ACCORDING TO THE WORD?

To walk uprightly (complete, without spot) is to walk in Christ, Him having made us the righteousness of God according to scripture, and scripture declares “we are complete in Him”. *SO WE DO WHAT HE SAYS!
(“Why do you call Me Lord, Lord and do not the things which I say?”)
        ~Forgiveness - Mercy - Compassion - Love

3. Walk In Love
Q: Why dose God want us to walk in love toward our fellow man?
Ans: Because Love is the catalyst to the blessing!

1Peter 3:8-9 ..be of one mind, having compassion for one another, love as brothers, be tenderhearted, courteous, not returning evil for evil or arguing, but rather be a blessing, knowing this is what you were called to, that you may inherit a blessing.

Conclusion: Your willingness to walk as a Christian, doing your utmost to live right, according to Gods word, to be gentle, patient, kind, forgiving, compassionate. These will bring about blessings greater than your ability to contain. Your loved ones will receive of this blessing and descendants yet unborn will also benefit! GOD NEVER FORGETS YOUR LABOUR OF LOVE!
THE GOOD YOU DO IN THIS LIFE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING A HARVEST OF BLESSING INTO YOUR FAMILY TREE AS LONG AS THE EARTH REMAINS!

~ AND THE BEST OF THE BLESSINGS LEFT BEHIND ARE OF MUCH MORE VALUE THAN WHAT MONEY CAN BUY!!!
